Hey Team, We are looking into the HA version of the cloud offering. Wanted to know if there are provisions to restore to a previous version of a cluster given a buggy deployment on our end (something similar to aws ebs volume snapshot and restore). From the support teams response, it doesn't look like this is currently possible. Checking if such a thing will be provided in the future.

PS: We have primary sources of data. Just that rewinding typesense is a faster RTO for us in case of a disaster than having to repopulate

Also I'm aware of the snapshot api in selfhosted version, we currently use it in k8 with the help of the typesense operator and they don't support backup/restore functionality currently.

Hi <@U096JJTV332>, if you are referring to the golang operator (TyKO), backup and restore functionality is on the roadmap but ETA is yet unclear. 

Thanks for the great work <@U07ADCLQ9RP>. I have seen the ticket. It is going to be quite complex imo. So we are just exploring to remove this load off the ops team :sweat_smile:
