Hello everyone! First off, big thanks to the maintainers and contributors for this great product! 🙏
I use Typesense to power search for
Meterwork, a 🇺🇸
US + 🇨🇦
Canada job search engine with 1.1M+ jobs: https://meterwork.com/
I built Meterwork as a candidate-first job platform after running into the same frustrations over and over again with LinkedIn’s job search.
Some key highlights:
• All jobs are sourced directly from employer career sites – no links to job aggregators.
• Jobs you won’t find on LinkedIn or Indeed – job boards charge employers to post, so a lot of jobs never make it there.
• No reposted jobs – companies can’t bump or recycle their listings, so you always get the latest results.
• No staffing/recruiting agencies – less time filtering out fake jobs, more time applying.
I have a fairly basic Typesense setup running on EC2 with
1.1M documents and
5GB of memory usage. Happy to answer any questions!
