After previously using typesense for a previous project, we decided that rather than attempting to optimize our SQL queries for search that our efforts would be better spent just migrating to typesense. We were able to migrate our search off SQL and into typesense within a couple of days. The net effect was our searches from from ~300-500ms a search down to 10-20ms a search, so like a ~95% reduction query time. Easy win!
