collections we already had and merging into a unified one - really not looking forward to redoing this now for the 5th time 😢 Was first done way back with Firebase RTDB, then ported to Firestore followers/following, then rewritten to TS with followers/following, then to get the follow/unfollow button, rewritten to merge into a single collection
