dafuq Sorry for swearing! The site-specific nginx conf had a statement to log to var/www/logs. That is not only weird but it was actually stopping the nginx from restarting, and the amazing UI of the host neglected to tell me said failure to restart, I only found after i attempted restart via terminal Correcting the log statement in the conf immediately fixed everything I am still puzzled as of how this could have happened since I literally did not edit this server since the start... and only me has (supposedly) access Downloading access logs of the past week and typesense logs now, to see if I find anything smart in it Thanks for the handholding and sorry the noise, clearly not a typesense issue
