Does anyone have experience disambiguating semantic search queries across multiple languages? Our users may search in for example English or German, and the the search "chef" means a cook in English but "boss" or "manager" in German. This is a common problem known as "false friends". Without context the embedding model has no clue which meaning to encode. We are considering adding the context before embedding like: "German: chef" but it is a shot in the dark.
