Are there plans to implement something like this?

Recently we landed a feature for specifying num_typos at a per field level: https://github.com/typesense/typesense/issues/262#issuecomment-844631342 This should account for some of the use cases mentioned in that screenshot. Would that help?

When is this going to be released? I also need to specify some fields as having 0 typo tolerance

As part of the next release, but happy to bump your cluster to the latest RC build if that will help.
