Storing Collection's Description in TypeSense

TLDR David asked about storing collection's descriptions in TypeSense. Jason clarified that it wasn't possible and such data must be maintained in the primary datastore.

Heyo! Quick question. Is there a current way to store a collection’s “description” in TypeSense? We’re thinking about perhaps creating another collection with the details, or using a separate database to store the details.

Could you give me an example of a collection and a description? Curious to understand the use-case

At a high level, we were hoping that when we retrieve a collection, or collections, we would be able to get some metadata associated with the collection versus having to manage that somewhere else

Typesense doesn’t have this ability… so you would have to maintain this information in your primary datastore
